Back Office Engineer # 1

Back office engineers will be responsible for completing the data transfer between the old and new device

and ensuring that the transfer and configuration has successfully completed in line with the agreed,

documented process.

Local language preferred (essential for small sites)

  • Perform HW Refresh technical engineering activity
  • Follow the necessary process for any user or technical escalations during refresh.
  • Accept old devices from end users at the start of the day (small sites only)
  • Accept old devices from end users between 14:00 and 15:00 daily
  • Collect new devices from the storage and transport to the onsite build area, un-boxing laptops and

desktops and peripherals as requested (small sites only)

  • Collect desktops from the End-Users desks and deliver to the onsite build area as requested (small sites

only)

  • Monitor, record and submit daily activity list for refreshed/upgraded devices, no shows, issues

encountered, suggested process changes

  • Record asset details during refresh and upgrade (old and new equipment to include user name, machine

name, asset tag and Serial number). Update these into the appropriate tool.

  • Assist with the migration of data to the Refreshed device – note, it is expected that in large sites a minimum

of 8 devices are refreshed per engineer per day with a minimum of 5 per engineer per day at small sites

  • Prepare equipment and package devices so they are ready for return to lessor (small sites only)
  • Check launch of core apps and complete Quality Assurance of new devices
  • Back Office Engineers at Large Sites will work a shift of 8 hours between the hours of 1300-2200.
  • Back Office Engineers at Small Sites will work a shift of 8 hours between the hours of 0800-1700

 

Central Team

  • Prepare devices for imaging – unbox, record devices per allocated user etc
  • Image a minimum of 50 (each team) devices per day using Microsoft Development Toolkit (MDT) build

process

  • Initiate download of user specific applications to device
  • Perform Quality Assurance of new device to ensure applications have been downloaded correctly
  • Record asset details during refresh and upgrade (new equipment to include user name, machine name,

asset tag and Serial number). Update these into the appropriate tool.

  • Manage Dead on Arrival (DOA) process
  • Undertake all preparation work in order that devices are ready for logistics company to transport to

locations in EU

Windows 7, Hardware Refresh, Hard Drive Swap Outs, Data Transfer, Windows UMTS,

Windows MDT, Windows SCCM.

 

Front Office Engineer # 2

Front office engineers will act as the liaison with the end users and will be primarily responsible

for returning the new devices to the end users (desktops to be delivered to user desk and

installed) and to provide post refresh support. In addition, these engineers will uplift desktops

from users for the same day refresh activities and sign in the old laptop devices from the end

user.

  • Local language essential
  • Follow the necessary process for any user or technical escalations during refresh.
  • Accept old devices from end users between 14:00 and 15:00 daily
  • Collect new devices from the storage and transport to the onsite build area, un-boxing laptops

and desktops and peripherals as requested.

  • Collect desktops from the End Users’ desk and deliver to the onsite build area as requested.
  • Prepare equipment and package devices for return to lessor as requested (where Unisys is

required to manage return of devices to the lessors)

  • Provide User Support, where required, during and immediately following hand over of new device

to end user.

  • Rebuild machines in event of failure
  • Assist back office team with refresh activity where appropriate (as time permits)
  • Front Office Engineers will work a standard shift of 8 hours between the hours of 0700-1730

(shifts to be worked as required).

UMTS, Windows MDT, Windows SCCM.

The sites to deploy are :

Bydgoszcz 24th Sept to October 10th

Poznan 24th sept to Oct 17th

Warsaw Oct 20th to Nov 7th

Katowice 20th oct to oct 27th

Banino 27th to Nov 7th

Katowickie Oct 6th to october 17th + Katowickie II Oct 20th to october 25th.

Exceptional salary on a daily pay basis.
